Amber is an incredible coach and horsewoman. We learned so much from her and our lessons were great fun with lots of learning experiences. We had the good fortune of bringing our green pony mare for training and lessons with Amber Anderson. She patiently worked with horse and rider to develop confidence in a program that was both enlightening and fun. Within a short period of time my daughter and her mount moved from a state of constant frustration to winning in the ring. This would not have been possible if we didn’t have the guidance and wisdom that was imparted from being coached by Amber. We miss her here in Ontario!
I rode with Amber for over a year, and I couldn’t have asked for a better coach. I had been in a serious horseback riding accident a few years ago and had not jumped since then. When I first came to Amber, I had the goal of jumping again. Amber was so patient and boosted my confidence in so many ways. She was encouraging and offered guidance and instruction in a way that helped me become a better rider. Amber was very understanding of my anxiety surrounding jumping and coached me in a way that always made me feel safe but at the same time pushed me to overcome my fears! I’m now confidently jumping 2’6 again like I used to, and will be showing in the near future. I don’t think I could have ever reached this goal without Amber’s guidance, coaching, and patience! Small Victory Farm is our home away from home. The atmosphere is welcoming, safe and completely unpretentious. My daughter has learned so much! As much off the horse as on. Amber is an AWESOME teacher, mentor and a caring individual. As is Travis. We feel so lucky to be a part of the Small Victory Family.
SVF is a great place whether you are looking to board your horse, take lessons or purchase a horse. Amber and Travis do a wonderful job ensuring that your horse is well taken care of and making you feel like part of the SVF family. Amber is a knowledgable and skilled horse woman and a wonderfully positive instructor. We purchased our first horse from SVF, Amber assisted us with purchasing our second horse and we couldn’t be happier!
My daughter, who was 6 at the time wanted to try out horse back riding, I knew NOTHING about horses! We signed her up over a year ago and Amber had all the patience in the world with us. She spent time teaching us everything we needed to know, and is still helping me figure out this new world of horses! They other owners and riders there are also fantastic and always willing to help us learn and we go! We love the time we spend at Small Victory Farm!! Would highly recommend to anyone that wants to learn riding!!
I am beyond grateful to have found SVF. It’s a fun atmosphere with genuinely friendly boarders, and Amber is not only a super kind person in general, but she’s knowledgeable and really tailors her program to suit individual horses and riders. With a young horse and a super busy schedule, this has really meant a lot to me as a client and as a boarder. Love this place!
I started riding at Small Victory Farm just under a year ago and I can say without a doubt that it is the best barn I have ever ridden at! The horses are healthy and happy and the community of riders at SVF are one big awesome family. Amber is an incredibly welcoming and is an extremely knowledgeable and nurturing coach.
